projection test, my version of an animated wallpaper

This is my method tried and tested. I have bought a blackout blind, cut the shape that I wanted the projection to be in, and bonded one of my finished prints to it using foil adhesive. I tried printing flock, foil and puff binder and opaque pigment on my prints to control the the shape of the projection. unfortunately none of these where completely successful, and ruined the quality of the print.
I am happy with this one though...

colour ways

ALL the colours, they are a mixure of colours taken from my own photos and WGSN interior predictions, there are also some predictions taken from graphics forecasts, because i liked them.

back to fabric

trying out colour ways and perfecting my designs.. here are some more recent samples. I am working on fabrics again because if i want to project onto my patterns I need to do it something which shows a clear picture when back projected. I did tests and cotton poplin is the one. so heres my designs on fabric.

i made a screen for repeat printing, design is taken from pictures like the ones i posted on here. the design will be mixed with moving image eventually to make animated wallpaper, i will post some examples of my tests on here, as it is not the easiest thing to describe.
here is the design...

just found this as a graphics prediction on WGSN, pretty similar ey?
trend setting ha ha...

cocktail party

Whilst designing a wallpaper for a cocktail bar I took some pictures of cocktail mixtures to work from..

i really like the way the different thicknesses of liquid move into each other although I think i may have to change some of the colours from red as it looks a bit bloodlike
